Karate at Lowell @ Lincoln and Thurgood Marshall Elementary Schools

The Feminist Karate Union has been offering karate at Lowell since July 2000 and at Thurgood Marshall since September 2009. The Lowell class isheld on Tuesday and Thursday after school, and at Thurgood Marshall Elementary School on Monday and Wednesday mornings, before classes begin.

For new students: registration formswill be available in the Main Office the first week of scholo, or can be downloaded. If they are out, please ask to be added to the wait list and contact the teacher, Sensei Joanne Factor. Class size will be limited to about 20 at Thurgood Marshall and 25 at Lowell.

Karate at Thurgood Marshall will begin on Monday Sept 12 for continuing students, and on Monday Sept 19 for new students. Classes will be taught 8:10 - 9:10 am.

Karate at Lowell@ Lincoln will begin on Tuesday Sept 13 for continuing students, and on Tuesday Sept 20 for new students. Classes will be taught 3:45 - 4:45 pm.

Tuition at either location is $250 per trimester. Also payable first trimester only are annual fees of $24. New karate gis (uniforms) are available for $20. All checks should be payable to FKU. Scholarships are available, please speak with the instrutor, PTA, or Family Support Worker.
