The Hayashi-Ha Cup Tournament, April 27, 2019

The Hayashi-Ha Cup Tournament was held on April 27, 2019 at Edmonds Community College, located at 20000 68th Ave W, Lynnwood, WA, 98036. Henry, Phoebe, Josie, Tomas, Mary, and Sensei Judy represented FKU at the Hayashi-Ha Cup.

Spring Demo, May 5, 2019

The Spring Demonstration be held on May 5, 2019 at Jefferson Community Center. Congratulations to all of our participants for a great demonstration! Well done, everyone.

Empty-Hand Evaluations June 1, 2019

Empty-hand evaluations will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at the dojo. The evaluation will start promptly at 10am. The evaluation is expected to take two hours or more, and all are welcome to join the instructors for lunch afterwards. Location TBD.

All adult students and kids ranked blue belt and higher are expected to participate.


FKU Board Meeting, June 2019

The FKU Board will meet on June 9, at 10am at the dojo. Feel free to reach out to a Board Member with any questions:

Welcome to our new class of Karate 101-ers!

Karate 101 is an 8 week beginners' program, where students learn the basics of the traditional art of Shito-Ryu. Please welcome our new cohort of beginners!


PAWMA Camp, August 23-26, 2019

The Pacific Association of Women Martial Artists (PAWMA) will be hosting the 42nd annual training camp, a transformative training weekend with top women martial artists teaching a variety of arts at Aldersgate Camps and Retreats just south of Portland, Oregon, in Turner, Oregon.
